Christian Newswire/ -- Evangelical News announced today the availability of the new Search facility for its web site,
www.evangelicalnews.org.
At the web site’s home page, readers can quickly and easily search through the more than 6500 press releases in the site’s database. This database comprises all articles published at the site in the last two years.
E. Stewart Black, Evangelical News’ Director of Technologies, says, “This should greatly aid readers and researchers who are trying to locate past press information from evangelical sources.” Black adds, “And of course, the longer the web site operates, the more useful the database becomes.”
Since its inception in 2001, Evangelical News has striven to improve its services to its readers. The new Search page is just the latest in such improvements. Earlier this year, Evangelical News added a free Headline Subscription Service for its readers. This service delivers the site’s headlines to subscribers’ email inboxes every weekday, holidays excepted. Those interested may sign up by going to:
www.evangelicalnews.org/subscribe.php .
Founder and Editor Mary Griffith says, “We are excited at being able to serve our readers better, first, with the Headline Subscriptions, and now, with the new Search capability.” She goes on, “It is the desire of everyone at Evangelical News that all be done to the glory of God, whose ministry this really is.”
Evangelical News, “Where Ministries Meet,” is a free online news service dedicated to helping busy evangelical leaders be more effective. The web site provides news of general interest to evangelical leaders, but with a focus on national and international ministries. Evangelical News began operations in 2001 and since then has experienced continued rapid growth in readership.
