Christian Newswire/ -- Amanda Mammana, who recently wowed millions of television viewers with her performance on America's Got Talent, is set to participate in CT CityFest with Andrew Palau this coming weekend, August 27-28, at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The 19-year-old Connecticut native first appeared on the July 19th episode of America's Got Talent. Sharing about her struggle with a speech impediment and the freedom she has found in music, Mammana stunned the crowd, brought the judges to their feet, and caused a buzz throughout the Internet in the days following.
Mammana, who performed once again last night as a semi-finalist for the talent competition, will share her powerful story of overcoming obstacles and perform as part of CT CityFest with Andrew Palau this weekend. The event is being hosted by more than 175 churches, organizations, and businesses throughout Southwest Connecticut and will include performances by TobyMac, Lecrae, We Are Messengers, Blanca, Megan Duke, Zenzo, and Impact Music. With a special emphasis on unity, hope, and good news, the free two-day festival will be held August 27-28, at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut (1 Barnum Dyke, Bridgeport, CT 06604).
